Park Ji-sung is set to leave PSV Eindhoven and join Manchester United in the U.K.

Major Dutch newspaper “The Telegraph” reported Monday that Park had agreed to a four-year contract with the English team.

Park has been a major presence for PSV, which won the Dutch league by a 10-point margin last season and also reached the Champions League semi-finals.

Both Manchester and Chelsea of the English Premier League had expressed interest in the South Korean midfielder.

The paper expected his transfer fee to be settled within the week, following Eindhoven’s rejection of a five-million euro or 6.2 billion Korean won offer by Manchester.
