Rainy Season to Start Late June

This year's rainy season will begin in late June, with early July to see the east coast and neighboring areas temporarily experiencing less than average temperatures.

The Korea Meteorological Administration on Monday said the rainy season will begin at the end of the month from the southern provinces as the seasonal rain front moves northward.

Precipitation will range between 48 to 138 millimeters in remaining similar to the yearly average.

In early July, the stimulated seasonal rain front will affect the entire nation with precipitation to range an above average 49 to 142 millimeters.

In mid-July, the seasonal rain front will temporarily lull but some places will see more rain.
