Ethnic Korean patent experts in Washington have set up a strategic team to support stem cell pioneer Hwang Woo-seok.

The task force seeks to protect the intellectual property rights of Hwang’s recent breakthroughs.

The team will also set up a strategic network with other IPR organizations in the United States and study patent data and possible cooperation with other US researchers.

The study's results will form the basis of the team's consulting to Hwang.
