China will provide to South Korea real-time meteorological data including yellow dust movement.

Environment Minister Kwak Kyul-ho and Chinese counterpart Xie Zhenhua in Beijing have signed an agreement on setting up a network to monitor and share information on yellow dust by 2007 for launch in 2008.

The agreement calls for Chinese provision of real-time data on yellow dust such as source and movement en route to the Korean Peninsula from six observation stations.

In the meantime, China will send information on yellow dust and atmosphere via email.
