Rahman Rezaei's header in the 45th minute gave host Iran a 1-0 World Cup qualifier win over North Korea.

In Tehran, the North lost its fourth straight qualifier and must win both of its remaining matches to have any chance of claiming a berth.

North Korean coach Yoon Jong-su was ejected for arguing with the referee in the 36th minute.

Next for the North is a spectator-barred game in Thailand against Japan Wednesday.
