Pitcher Park Goes 5-1 for 1st Time

Park Chan-ho has a 5-1 record for the first time in his US pro baseball career.

The Texas Ranger pitcher on Sunday allowed six hits and three earned runs in six innings, but his team's six-run explosion in the sixth led to a 12-4 rout of the Chicago White Sox.

Park also had four walks and strikeouts over 105 pitches to earn his fourth straight victory. The Rangers have also won in all of his last seven starts and eight straight overall.

Allowing a solor homer in the fourth, Park has an earned run average of 4.60.
