The government has discussed strengthening information technology cooperation with Sri Lanka and Mongolia.

Information and Communication Minister Chin Dae-je on Thursday held talks with Mongolian counterpart and Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse separately.

Chin briefed both officials on his nation's e-government system and efforts to narrow the digital divide.

The ministry will also help Mongolia establish a database for resident registration.
