Team to Play WC Qualifier in Uzbekistan

The national soccer team on June 3 will play a World Cup qualifier in Uzbekistan as planned.
The Korea Football Association on Thursday said it received confirmation from its Uzbek counterpart on holding the match in Tashkent as scheduled.
The association has already applied for visas for team members.
The team will leave for Tashkent Tuesday, with Netherlands-based players Park Ji-sung and Lee Young-pyo to fly directly from Amsterdam to the Uzbek capital.
Over 300 local fans from the Red Devils group will cheer the team in Uzbekistan unless the domestic situation there worsens.
