The national soccer team has added defender Kwak Hee-joo and midfielder Joseph Park to its roster.
Coach Jo Bonfrere on Thursday said a coaching meeting filled the weakness at defender with the two men, with Park selected over injured veteran Yoo Sang-chul.
His first selection to the national team, Kwak is 25, 184 cm tall and has played in 59 games for the domestic K-league.
His pro coach Cha Bum-keun calls Kwak the main reason behind Suwon Samsung's success, and Bonfrere has praised the player's ball control and one-on-one defense.
Park is 25 years old, 183 cm tall and a member of FC Seoul, but is fulfilling his military duty with an army team in Gwangju.
He has five goals in 74 pro matches and has appeared in six international matches.
Thus Bonfrere has a 24-man roster to work with after training camp begins in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, on Tuesday.
