The national baseball team will play the United States in July for the first time since 2001.

The Korea Baseball Organization on Wednesday said the two teams will play in the United States to mark the centennial anniversary of Korean baseball and the 102nd year of Korean emigration to the United States.

It also released the final roster of 24 players under the command of Yonsei University manager Kim Chung-nam.

Begun in 1978, the friendly games were suspended in 2001 due to scheduling and financial problems.
