The Bangkok Post says the Thai capital will host the June 8th North Korea-Japan World Cup qualifer.

The daily on Saturday said The Football Association of Thailand accepted FIFA's request to host the match, with Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok as the likely venue.

On Friday, a North Korean sports newspaper blasted FIFA for its "unjust" decision and favoritism towards Japan to relocate the game without fans to another country.

The North has yet to file an official appeal to the sanction.
