Park JY to Play in Youth Championship

The Korea Football Association will send star rookie Park Ju-young to the Netherlands for the World Youth Championships in June.

The association on Saturday said it will narrow the player list from 30 to 21 by May 27th, when the final roster is submitted to soccer's world governing body, FIFA.

Coach Park Seung-hwa says he will summon players Wednesday, allow them to play for their pro teams three days later and recall them on May 16th.

Given Park Ju-young's immense potential, however, the KFA may promote him to the World Cup national team Monday.
