Korean Players Shine in Semifinal Loss

PSV Eindhoven's valiant Champions League run ended Wednesday despite Park Ji-sung's goal and Lee Young-pyo's assist.

Massimo Ambrosini's score in the 90th minute propelled AC Milan past PSV in the semifinals. Both teams scored three times in the two games, but Milan won because of its away goal.

Park opened the scoring early with a blast in the ninth minute. Teammate Lee Young-pyo in the 64th minute set up the second PSV goal with a perfect cross to Philip Cocu, who headed the ball in.

But the Dutch team allowed Milan to score yet another decisive goal in the final minute, as Ambrosini's header advanced Milan to the finals.

Cocu added a desperation goal in the 92nd minute, but PSV ran out of time.
