Female golfer Grace Park is tied for second in the Franklin American Mortgage Championship after the first round.

In Franklin, Tennessee, Park on Thursday shot two-under 70 for the round in tying with Cristie Kerr and Stacy Prammanasudh.

Leader Kris Tschetter shot a three-under 69 in driving rain and windy conditions in the afternoon.

Seri Park failed to qualify after shooting a nine-over 81.
