Blazers Pleased with Ha's Progress

The National Basketball Association's Portland Trailblazers are surprised over Ha Seung-jin's rapid development.

Ha's agent said Tuesday that Portland general manager John Nash is impressed with Ha's progress and may bring him along faster next season.

The seven-feet-four player was the third-string center behind Theo Ratliff and Joel Przybilla after being called up in December from the National Basketball Developmental League.

His best performance was in the regular season finale win against the Los Angeles Lakers, scoring a career-high 13 points.

The agent said the center will train hard in the off-season to add weight and prepare for next season.

Ha will return to South Korea next week.
