A technical control watchdog of nuclear power will start operations in September to upgrade transparency and reliability.

The Science and Technology Ministry recently announced it will present a revision to the atomic energy law to the extra-parliamentary session in June, after consulting with related agencies and parties.

The new center will control and monitor nuclear materials, research facilities and atomic plants under state commission.
