Nation Wins World TKD Title

South Korea on Saturday added three more gold medals at the World Taekwondo Championships in Madrid, Spain, maintaining its No.1 ranking for the 17th straight year.

Sin Kyung-hyeon won the women's heavyweight title over Iniabelle Diaz of Puerto Rico, while the women's bantamweight gold went to Kim Bo-hye, who defeated Zeynep Murat of Turkey.

Kim Jae-sik took the men's bantamweight title by beating Marcio Wenceslau of Brazil.

South Korea won four golds and one bronze in the men's competition, and three three golds, a silver and a bronze in the women's.
