ISO Adopts Nation's Safety Signs

The International Standardization Organization has adopted eight safety signs proposed by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards.

The agency, an office under the Commerce, Industry and Energy Ministry, said Thursday that the eight signs include those on wearing safety equipment and turning off power after use.

The faces used in current ISO safety signs are Caucasian, while the new ones feature Asian faces.
