Park Makes First Start in MLB Season

Texas Ranger pitcher Park Chan-ho on Friday escaped with a no-decision in his season's first start.

Park gave up all of his three earned runs in the fifth inning, and was soon replaced afterwards in his team's 9-6 away loss to the Seattle Mariners.

He gave up four hits and struck out two in five and two-thirds innings, while his earned run average shot up to 4.76.

Last season, Park went four and seven with an ERA of 5.46.

He is in the fourth year of a five-year, 66 million dollar contract.
