Rising fencing star Choi Eun-sook won the silver medal Monday at the 2005 Junior World Fencing Championships in Lintz, Austria.

Choi advanced to the gold medal match as the No. 1 seed after winning all six of her preliminary bouts. But she lost in the final to Sophie Lamon of Switzerland, 12-15.
