S.Korea, France Agree to Boost Science Cooperation

South Korea and France have agreed to boost bilateral cooperation in the field of scientific technology.

Minister for Science and Technology Oh Myung met with his French counterpart, Francois d’Aubert, on Wednesday in France and agreed to organize a biennial South Korea-France science and technology committee meeting. The meetings are to be held alternately in the two countries.

The two ministers also agreed to hold a regular forum for experts in five scientific fields including bioengineering and so-called chrono-technology.
