Two Koreas to Hold Men's & Women's Football Matches on August 4

The men's and women's football teams of the two Koreas will play each other on August 4th at Jeonju in South Korea's North Jeolla Province.

The games are part of the 2005 East Asian Football Federation Championship.

North Korea recently advanced to this year's EAFF tournament by defeating Hong Kong two-to-zero in its final qualifier. The North has won all four of its qualifiers to advance to the next stage, and will face defending champion South Korea, China and Japan.

The upcoming game between the Koreas will be their first official A-match since October 1993, when the South defeated the North three-to-zero in a 1994 World Cup qualifier in Qatar.

This year's EAFF finals run from July 31st to August 6th in South Korea.
