The national football team has departed for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to prepare for its second World Cup qualifier next week.

The team left Tuesday morning for Dubai for training and will move March 21 to Damman, Saudi Arabia, where it will play the host nation on March 25.

Head coach Jo Bonfrere told reporters at Incheon International Airport to expect great play from the South Korean team despite a short training period.

Having crushed Kuwait 2-0 in its opening qualifier, South Korea can secure a commanding position for a World Cup berth with another win.
