Cherry Blossoms to Start Blooming in Jeju Later This Month

Cherry blossoms will begin blooming about one week later than last year starting from March 26 in Seoguipo city, Jeju island.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said Friday that cherry blossoms will bloom on March 30th in Busan and the coastal areas of South Gyeongsang Province and the rest of the country early next month.

The state-run weather center said the late blooming of cherry blossoms is due to a number of cold spells at the end of February and early this month.
