Kim Yeon-a Wins Korea's 1st-ever Silver in World Junior Figure Skating Champ

South Korea's Kim Yeon-a won a silver medal in the World Junior Figure Skating Championships, becoming the first Korean skater to achieve the honor.

In the female single free skating event held on Friday in Ontario, Canada, the 15-year-old Kim, who attends Dojang Middle School, finished in second place by scoring 110.26 points.

The first spot went to Mao Asada of Japan.
