FIFA's official website has introduced South Korea's rising football luminary Park Chu-young as a "new star."

Introducing the Asian countries that will be participating in the 2005 World Youth Championship in the Netherlands in June, a FIFA feature article introduced Park as the 2004 Asia Young Player of the Year. The article went on to run through his most outstanding achievements, including his scoring of nine goals in the Asian Under-19 Championship held in Qatar last month and consequently being named the Most Valuable Player.

The article also confirmed South Korea as having a "crop of players rich enough to threaten the traditional world powers".
