South Korea's under-21 football team advanced to the final of the Qatar invitational with a 2-1 win over Algeria on Sunday night in Doha, Qatar.

South Korean striker Park Chu-young led his team to the final by scoring two goals in the match. Park scored a goal to give his team a 1-0 lead in the 55th minute and another in the first minute of extra time.

The South Korean team will play in the tournament championship on Thursday against Japan, which beat Norway 2-0 in the other semi-final match.
