S.Korea, Sweden Ties 1-1 in Soccer Friendly

South Korea and Sweden drew 1-1 in a soccer friendly held in Los Angeles Saturday, with the European side staging a come-back from a remarkable goal by Korean forward Chung Kyung-ho.

Chung broke the no-goal silence 24 minutes into the game's second half when he sliced through a web of defenders to hammer the ball into the right edge of the net.

Swedens' Marcus Rosenberg scored an equalizer 16 minutes later.

With the draw, South Korea has posted two ties and one loss this year, failing to win a single A-match game so far.

Saturday's match was also South Korea's 14th no-winning match in Los Angeles since 1989. The South Korean team will hold another friendly with Egypt on February 4 in L.A., prior to returning home on Wednesday.
