South Korean soccer star Cha Du-ri, currently playing in Germany's Bundesliga league, has been invited to an international charity match to be hosted by FIFA and held in Spain on February 16.

The match will seek to benefit victims of the earthquake-triggered tsunamis that ravaged South Asian countries late last year.

FIFA said it had invited 50 world-famous soccer players to the event.
