Samsung Electronics has developed a mobile phone capable of recognizing three-dimensional movement for the first time in the world.

Samsung said the phone can, for instance, delete all spam messages with the vertical wave of an arm, dial telephone numbers with correct hand movements.

Samsung said the technology would also allow for sending of messages and drawing picures without the use of buttons or a stylus.
