South Korean under-19 athletes dominated the 2005 world junior short track speed skating championships, which came to a close yesterday in Belgrade.

South Koreans Kim Hyun-kon and Kwak Yun-ki took first and third places respectively in the boys' overall event, while in the girls' division, Park Sun-young and Cheon chi-soo took the top two spots, respectively.

With the accomplishment, Korean male youths have successfully defended the championship title for the sixth time since 2000. The girls, meanwhile, have won their respective title for the fourth time since 2002.
