WSJ Hails S.Korea’s Advanced Mobile Phone Technology

A Wall Street Journal article has hailed South Korea's advanced mobile phone technology.

The report pointed out that mobile phones have become an all-purpose tool with various functions, adding that clues for future trends of the product can be found in South Korea.

In its Tuesday article, the paper made a detailed report of state-of-the-art services provided by mobile phones in South Korea and the special features and functions of new LG phone models.

The WSJ also said that some South Koreans are already using mobile phones to operate air conditioners, lights and garage doors through remote control and that CEOs expect these services to be launched in the United States within a couple of years.
