Hiddink’s Eindhoven to Compete in Peace Cup 2005 Korea

PSV Eindhoven coach Guus Hiddink will come to South Korea next summer.

A Dutch daily said Wednesday the team will compete in the Peace Cup Soccer Tournament Korea to be held in South Korea from July 14th to 25th next year.

PSV Eindhoven won the Peace Cup 2003 Korea, defeating Olympique Lyon 1-0 in the final match.

Organizers said a total of eight clubs will take part in the biennial games including PSV, Olympique Lyon and South Korean host team Seongnam Ilhwa.

Hiddink enjoys a wide following in South Korea after he led the Korean team to the semi-finals of the 2002 World Cup.
