South Korea's national soccer team will play a friendly match against Egypt in February, a few days before competing in Asia’s final qualifying round for the 2006 World Cup.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) said Friday the Egyptian team will be invited to Korea for a match on February 4 and that the venue for the event has yet to be decided.

The Association said the friendly match had been planned for the past two months, as part of preparations for South Korea's match versus Kuwait in the World Cup preliminaries.
