Striker Park Joo-young Chosen as Youth Player of the Year

South Korean striker Park Joo-young has been selected as Youth Player of the Year by the Asian Football Confederation.
The Korea Football Association said Monday the 19-year-old striker will leave for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Wendesday for the awards ceremony.
Park emerged as a star striker after claiming the titles of top scorer and MVP in the 2004 Asian Youth Championships last month. In particular, Park left a strong impression in the final round match against China by dribbling past four defenders to score a goal.
