BTS is set to mark its comeback with events in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun area.

According to the Korea Heritage Service on Tuesday, its cultural heritage committee has conditionally approved a request from BTS’ management agency, HYBE, for permits to use Gyeongbok Palace and Sungnyemun as filming locations.

The heritage agency said it will form a subcommittee that will be tasked with going over details as requested by HYBE and reviewing the possible impact of the filming effort on cultural heritage sites.

As a result, HYBE will be allowed to film pre-comeback performance videos in the ancient palace and the Gwanghwamun area.

HYBE is also likely to hold an event where it screens a media facade along the walls of the gates Gwanghwamun and Sungnyemun.

BTS is set to release its fifth album, “Arirang,” on March 20, the first one from the band after three years and nine months.
