The snow and rain falling in the central region will continue through early hours Tuesday while other regions will see slight snow or rain.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Monday, two to seven centimeters of snow is forecast for the northern parts of Gyeonggi Province and between three and eight centimeters of snow for Gangwon Province's inland and mountainous regions on Tuesday. A heavy snow watch is currently in place for such areas. 

Morning lows will stand between minus eight and five degrees Celsius, six to nine degrees warmer than Monday's but the weather is expected to be freezing with strong winds expected.

Afternoon highs will range between minus six and eight degrees, or one to four degrees lower than Monday.
