Coupang's users declined from a record high following a massive data leak at the e-commerce giant.

According to data tech firm IGAWorks' Mobile Index on Friday, Coupang’s daily active users stood at 17-point-eight million on Tuesday.

The figure represents a sharp drop of more than 180-thousand from the previous day’s all-time high of 17-point-98 million.

It also marks the first decrease after three consecutive days of growth since last Saturday, when Coupang announced that a data breach had impacted 33-point-seven million customers.

Daily users, however, have remained in the 17-million range for three straight days since Sunday.

Some observers say the decline may signal a user exodus from Coupang following the security incident.
