Five people had perfect scores across all subjects in the College Scholastic Ability Test(CSAT) for the 2026 academic year.

The education ministry and the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation announced the outcome of the 2026 CSAT held on November 13.

Four of the five test takers were enrolled students, and one other person was a graduate.

The number of perfect scorers significantly dropped from eleven last year, with the maximum standard score of 147 in Korean language, eight points higher compared to last year.

The maximum standard score in Math was down one point at 139.

Four-point-67 percent of the takers scored in the top first class in Korean, four-point-62 percent in Math. Three-point-11 percent were among the top class in English, which was the lowest since 2018.

Test takers will receive their individual score reports, including standard scores, percentiles, and raw grades, on Friday.
