Temperatures will drop starting Monday and fall below freezing in most parts of the country on Tuesday morning.

The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) expects morning lows on Tuesday to range from minus five to five degrees Celsius, four to eight degrees lower than Monday’s lows.

Daytime highs on Tuesday will range from one to 13 degrees, about six degrees lower than Monday's temperatures.

The mercury will plunge to seven below zero in Seoul on Wednesday morning, with the wind chill falling below minus ten degrees.

Snow may also accumulate between Tuesday and Wednesday in the western region and Jeju.
