Widespread rain is expected across South Korea on Thursday.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, central regions, including the greater Seoul area, will receive between five and 20 millimeters of rainfall, and the Yeongnam region, Honam and Jeju will likely see around five millimeters.

Mountainous areas of Gangwon Province may record between three and eight centimeters of snow as colder air settles in.

Winds potentially exceeding 20 meters per second may hit the west coast, east coast and Jeju, raising the likelihood of wind advisories.

Morning temperatures will range from minus one degree to eight degrees Celsius nationwide, including five degrees in Seoul.

Daytime highs will range from seven to 16 degrees, though strong winds will make conditions feel colder.
