Naver Financial, the nation's top all-in-one financial platform, agreed to acquire Dunamu, the operator of the country's largest digital asset exchange, Upbit, in a share-swap deal that values Dunamu at 15-point-one trillion won.

Dunamu, which also operates the Stockplus stock trading platform, and Naver both approved the agreement at directors' meetings on Tuesday.

The share-swap ratio was set at 1 to two-point-54, meaning Dunamu shareholders will receive two-point-54 shares of Naver Financial for each Dunamu share owned.

The deal values Naver Financial at four-point-nine trillion won.

The agreement must secure final approval from shareholders and the government.
