South Korea beat Ghana 1-0 on Tuesday in its final men's friendly football match of the year.

The national football team, led by head coach Hong Myung-bo, managed to secure the win at the Seoul World Cup Stadium thanks to defender Lee Tae-seok's second-half goal. 

A win against Ghana was essential to secure a favorable group draw for the 2026 World Cup.

Despite a sluggish first half, the team scored in the second half and held on to finish the year with a victory.
