Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong will meet Mercedes-Benz Chairman Ola Kallenius on Thursday at Samsung Group's guesthouse in Seoul. 

Business industry sources said Thursday that Lee and Kallenius will have dinner at Seungjiwon, where Lee often meets prominent figures. 

Since Lee has focused on automotive electronics, including spearheading Samsung's acquisition of Harman International Industries, the discussion is expected to focus on how Samsung's major affiliates will supply automotive parts.

Currently, Samsung Electronics and Mercedes-Benz are working together on infotainment and digital keys. 

Earlier in the day, Kallenius, who is visiting the country for the first time in two years, met with the CEOs of LG Group affiliates and characterized the conglomerate as one of the innovation partners that Mercedes-Benz seeks out when trying new and special things.
