Temperatures climbed back to typical late-autumn levels on Tuesday afternoon.

The Korea Meteorological Administration, however, expects readings to fall again overnight, bringing another chilly morning on Wednesday.

Temperatures in central inland and mountainous regions will dip below freezing, with frost or thin ice forming in some areas.

Fog, reducing visibility below one kilometer, may form inland from dawn until later in the morning.

Morning lows will range from zero to ten degrees Celsius—dipping down to five degrees in Seoul as they did on Tuesday.

Daytime highs will reach fifteen to twenty-one degrees, about one to two degrees warmer than Tuesday, leading to a sharp daily temperature contrast.

Waves off of Jeju will rise to two to three meters, with strong swells also expected along southern coasts.
