The government’s highest-priority online administrative services have been fully restored about a month after a fire at a state data center in Daejeon disrupted 709 systems.

The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters announced that all 40 grade one systems were back online as of 7 a.m. Friday.

Eighty-nine percent, or 631, of the 709 systems have been restored. 

Sixty-eight, or 92-point-six percent, of grade two systems are back up.

The blaze broke out at the National Information Resources Service on the night of September 26 after a worker attempted to replace a lithium battery.
