Temperatures will stay close to seasonal autumn averages through Sunday, but the mercury is expected to drop early next week, with morning lows in Seoul dipping to around 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, signaling the return of early winter chill.

Morning lows on Saturday will range from 9 to 17 degrees Celsius, with Seoul at 13 degrees, while daytime highs will range between 17 and 23 degrees, similar to or slightly lower than Friday's.

Rain will continue intermittently along Gangwon Province's east coast and eastern regions through early Saturday morning, with occasional showers extending inland to parts of North Gyeongsang Province and the Yeongseo region of Gangwon Province in the afternoon.

Rainfall totals are expected to reach 10 to 40 millimeters on North Gyeongsang Province's coast and 5 to 10 millimeters in South Gyeongsang Province.

Winds will remain strong over the East and South Seas, where waves are forecast to reach 2 to 3 meters.
