The South Korean men’s national football team finished its October friendlies with one win over Paraguay and one loss to Brazil.

The team, led by head coach Hong Myung-bo, defeated Paraguay 2-0 in an international friendly at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Tuesday.

Eom Ji-sung scored South Korea’s first goal in the 15th minute of the first half, and Oh Hyeon-gyu, who came on as a sub in the second half, scored the second goal in the 75th minute.

Hong shook up his starting lineup and made eight changes in the wake of last week’s 5-0 loss to Brazil.

During the match against Paraguay, only 22-thousand-206 spectators filled the stands, marking the first national football team match in a decade that failed to draw 30-thousand fans.

In stark comparison, more than 63-thousand fans showed up for South Korea's match against Brazil.
