Amid ongoing disruptions caused by a fire at the National Information Resources Service, 132 out of 647 affected government systems have been restored, according to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

As of 6 a.m. Sunday, 20-point-four percent of impacted services were back online, including 22 high-priority grade-one systems.

The fire broke out at the state-run data center in Daejeon on Friday, September 26, reportedly during a lithium battery replacement, resulting in widespread paralysis of online government services.

Authorities are working around the clock to restore operations throughout the extended Chuseok holiday.
