The National Assembly will hold a four-day interpellation session starting Monday.

Lawmakers will question government ministers about politics on Monday; foreign affairs, unification and security on Tuesday; the economy on Wednesday; and education, society and culture on Thursday.

The ruling Democratic Party pledged to engage in the question-and-answer session with its best effort as part of reforms and securing growth engines for the future, stressing the importance of getting to the bottom of the December 3 martial law declaration and bringing those responsible to justice.

The main opposition People Power Party said it had many questions and doubts regarding issues such as U.S. tariffs, judicial reform and the ruling party’s move to establish a special court for martial law-related cases.

The PPP added that it plans to use sharp policy questioning to clarify these matters.
